After losing their kingdom in the game of dice, the Pandavas faced years of hardship. Seeing Yudhishthira&#8217;s despair, Lord Krishna advised him to observe the Anant Vrat and pray to Lord Vishnu in his Anant form. Yudhishthira followed the vrat with complete faith and devotion. It is believed that Lord Vishnu blessed the Pandavas, helping them regain their kingdom and restore peace and prosperity in their lives.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another popular legend tells the story of Sage Kaundinya and his wife, Sushila. Sushila observed the Anant Vrat and tied the sacred Anant Sutra with fourteen knots. When Kaundinya removed the thread out of pride, the couple began facing financial and personal difficulties. Realising his mistake, he prayed to Lord Vishnu and observed the vrat sincerely, after which their happiness and prosperity returned.
